Description

Brufen 400mg tablets is a non-steroidal drug used in the treatment of pains and inflammations such as a toothache, headache, arthritis, menstrual cramps etc. It alters the levels of hormones in the body to give relief from pain and inflammation.

The prominent side effects Brufen 400mg tablets may be anaemia, hypertension, vomiting, haemorrhages, low haemoglobin etc. Although these side effects subside with time, the physician must be informed if they do not. Also get in touch with the doctor if you face any serious side effects like breathlessness, weight gain, itching, excessively tiredness and problems with excretion, etc.

Brufen 400mg tablets can be prescribed to adults as well as children above 6 months. However, the dosage and duration vary according to the condition under treatment as well as the medical history of the patient. Doctor’s advice must be followed in this respect.

Brufen 400mg tablets is not advisable for patients at the risk of cardiovascular diseases, a recent bypass operation or with an allergy to the components of the medicine. Health conditions such as asthma, fluid retention, kidney problems, chronic ulcers, and bleeding, etc. also discourage the use of Brufen 400mg tablets. It must also not be prescribed during the trimester of pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
